MUSIC REFLECTION

I am in Music Group 1.
Music has been my favourite lesson since I started here at HNI.
During  music lessons we learnt to play the guitar, which I loved! I have never played anything on the guitar, it was a new and totally awesome experience for me. Because I started later than the rest of Room 10, I had quite a lot of music to catch up on.
The songs that we learnt to sing and play on the guitar were ‘Rock My Soul’ , ‘The Lion Sleeps Tonight’ , ‘Polly-Wolly-Doodle’ , ‘Me He Manu Rere’ , ‘Yellow Bird’ , ‘Blowing in the Wind’ and ‘Four Strong Winds’.
I picked up the guitar quite easily. I think it had something to do with me playing the violin, which I have been doing for almost five years now.
I loved learning more about famous composers like Brahms and Bach whose music I know really well.
I also really enjoyed making my google slide on Lorde for music.
I spent many rainy lunchtimes in the library working through my music book, trying to get up to date. I finished everything in my book yesterday.
I am really going to miss music next term and the term after that and the term after term that.
I can’t wait to year eight so I can get back to music lessons!
