I really enjoyed Measurement Learning last term. I feel like I learnt a lot about squares and cubes as well as volume and capacity.
I found volume and capacity pretty easy so I challenged myself with some year 9 maths on Maths Buddy. I want to continue learning measurement in my own time.
I love problem solving and Math Buddy is a fantastic tool for maths. I was scoring 100% on year 7 and 8 maths, so it is great to be able to move up levels on Math Buddy.
I learnt all about how to calculate the volume of triangular prisms, using simple formulars from the internet.
I love doing maths at home and am always keen to practice heaps of areas of mathematics at home.
You have done exceptionally well with your measurement learning and the challenge factor of finding a 3d shape other than a cube or cuboid to learn more about calculating the volume of. You executed your learn it, practice it and prove it concept really well. Be proud and think about the remainder of the year and other mathematical challenges you want to be involved with because you are more than capable! Miss O'B
